Despite the fact that it is a relatively short golf season for Hamilton High School Golf Team, most of our team members are involved in JGAA, SWPGA, AJGA and USGA tournaments and many other events all year round.  Please check frequently for upcoming events such as community service, fund raisers, meetings, tournaments, & upcoming varsity team tryout Information.

Introducing Alexander Yu, HHS Golf Team Captain for 2017

 Husky Spotlight 2017: Alexander Yu, Class of 2019, is a 3 year Varsity Letterman and is this year’s co-Team Captain. Alexander started to play golf in Fall of 2012. He entered his first ever competition in December of 2012 with JGAA and won 1st place in his division! Ever since then, he has been hooked on the game of golf. He is a passionate player who has competed as a starter in many matches and tournaments throughout the years.   He also demonstrates excellence off the course with a 4.6 weighted / 3.93 unweighted GPA, and is a member of the National Honor Society. Alexander is a dedicated team member who contributes his free time to raise funds by holding Par 3 Challenges at various sponsoring golf courses and actively participates in many other fundraisers earning thousands of dollars for the team. He is always thinking of the best ways to support the team in any way he can.   Alexander is also the President of Junior Investors League - http://www.juniorinvestorsleague.com/ - an organization for students to learn about stock investing and saving. He is a natural born leader and is well liked by his peers. He is quite entrepreneurial and is a self proclaimed “Sneakerhead." He often educates his friends about the sneaker business and guides them on what to buy, sell, and collect.   Alexander has also been selected for the highly coveted Dignity Health summer medical internship program at the Mercy Gilbert Hospital and will continue to serve over the upcoming summers. Alexander’s career goal is to study medicine in order to help people in need.
